The mission of Strategic Business Engineering (SBE) is to provide our clients with expert Information Technology Project Management and Business Management Consulting using best practices that generate performance excellence within our clients' organizations to drive higher efficiency and superior levels of quality in produced goods and services, creating greater demand and higher return on investment.

Project Management - Strategic Business Engineering has PMI Certified Project Management Professionals on staff and can provide management of projects and/or training on the discipline of Project Management. We have 10+ years experience managing Information Technology and Business Process Management projects, including multimillion dollar, multi-vendor, multi-location projects.
Organizational Change Management - Change is the ONLY way improvement and growth can happen. But change is almost never easy. SBE can map your current business and production processes, and suggest and help you evaluate possible changes, then help train your staff and effectively manage the change it takes to make improvements.
Business Process Management (BPM) - You have a great product or service, which naturally includes production processes, but it's the management processes that make it a business. If you're like most businesses, your management processes were home grown and have evolved over time. And now the various management systems don't talk very well to each other, which creates inefficiencies. BPM is the software and server systems that support your business processes. SBE provides help with research and selection of BPM packages that match your business, e.g., ERP, CRM, SOA, ITIL, etc. The end result is better information and information systems with which to manage your business.
Strategic Planning - SBE can facilitate development of your strategic plan, provide training on strategic planning, assist your organization in developing a strategic planning process, help develop a plan deployment process, and assist in deploying the plan throughout the entire organization.
Balanced Scorecard - SBE can provide consulting and training to help your organization develop and deploy a performance monitoring and management system using statistical analysis and a Balanced Scorecard. SBE believes the key to this tool is knowing what to measure to attain alignment with your organization’s Strategic Plan and other best-practice management systems.
Benchmarking - SBE can provide consulting and training on how to establish benchmarking activities and collect comparative data to help your organization understand how to use this technique to improve processes and set goals and targets for the future.
Process Engineering and Improvement Methodologies - SBE can provide process engineering and improvement methodologies consulting and training, including Total Quality Management, Continuous Quality Improvement, Kaisen, and other methodologies, to help organizations understand and implement any of these highly effective process management approaches.
Custom-built MS Access Databases - SBE can provide custom MS Access / VBA frontend applications to Oracle, SQL, and other backend databases.

The Baldrige Management Program focuses on these management systems:Understanding the Baldrige management model can be a daunting task, and implementing the concepts contained in the model can be even more challenging. Strategic Business Engineering has the expertise and know-how to explain these concepts in terms all employees can understand, and develop techniques that can produce successful implementation in a relatively short period of time. In addition, SBE can conduct assessment training on site to teach organizations how to conduct a variety of Baldrige-type assessments, and can participate in the assessment process as desired.
